Founded in 2025, Quento is the newest company of Qualco Group, leading the Group’s ICT operations in Greece and internationally. The name, which originated from the Latin word “cuento”, reflects their belief in the power of crafting compelling narratives, as every milestone, every challenge overcome, and every success achieved is a part of a greater story.

Let’s explore this new innovative company through a detailed interview with Vassilis Christopoulos, Chief Engineering Officer.

Vassilis previously held technology management roles in companies such as Analytix Consulting, Uni Systems and INTRASOFT International. At Quento, he is responsible for setting strategic technological goals and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects.

What unique market opportunity is Quento designed to address?

The recent integration of teams such as those of DD Synergy (SAP), Empedus (ServiceNow), and Cenobe (external attack surface management) strengthens our ability to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges.”

From a technology standpoint, what differentiates Quento from established competitors?

We specialise in integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP and ServiceNow to orchestrate complex workflows and drive operational efficiency. Our “capabilities-to-solutions” approach ensures that every technology investment is mapped to a clear business outcome.

We also invest in technologies such as blockchain & Edge computing, IoT and Smart technologies, and VR/AR and emerging technologies, always with an eye on how technology can empower people and organisations. Modern methodologies like DevSecOps, microservices, and AI-driven analytics are at the heart of our delivery model.”

What are the most exciting technical challenges the team will tackle in 2026?

“Looking ahead, Quento is prepared to tackle some of the most pressing technical challenges in the industry.

These include operationalising AI in a responsible and compliant manner (e.g., aligned with the EU AI Act), scaling AIOps and observability for proactive IT management, and designing secure, high-performance multi-cloud environments that respect data resilience requirements.

We are also committed to ISO-driven excellence (such as ISO 27001, 27701, 20000-1, 50001, 14001, 37001, 22301 and 9001) in our processes, ensuring that innovation is both auditable, sustainable, and repeatable.

Unifying the delivery experience across our service lines will be key to presenting a seamless, integrated offering to our clients. In my previous roles, I have seen how daunting these transformations can be. But with the right team and mindset, what starts as a challenge quickly becomes a source of pride and growth.”
