As the Executive Chairman of Qualco Group, Orestis Tsakalotos serves on the Executive Committee, overseeing client and business areas and developing major initiatives while leading the Group’s strategy. He heads the Board of Directors, focusing on performance, value creation, and accountability. He holds a Ph.D. and Master’s in Control Systems, as well as a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University.

As the CEO and founding partner of Qualco Group, Miltiadis Georgantzis oversees all business aspects. With over 30 years of experience in technology and financial services, he has a proven executive management track record. Under his leadership and strategic focus on innovation, the Group has become a leading international fintech and service provider. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College University of London.

Since 2007, Dimokritos Amallos has served as a Board Member at Qualco; since 2017, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Quant. Over his career, he has held leadership roles as a partner and board member in several major companies, including Hellenic Petroleum, Singular, and others. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Athens.

Omar Maasarani is a portfolio manager at PIMCO focused on originating, executing, and managing private and structured equity investments. Before joining PIMCO, he spent nearly a decade with Morgan Stanley, executing over a dozen investments across the technology, business services, and consumer sectors. He has 16 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.

Mohammad Kamal Syed is the Interim CEO of Coutts and Wealth Businesses, with over 35 years of experience in investment banking, wealth management, and fund management. He joined Coutts in 2012 as Head of Asset Management and has held senior leadership roles managing UHNW and corporate relationships. He also served as the Global Head of Investment Banking at Sanwa International PLC and Sanwa Financial Products (now Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ Group).

Steven Thomas Edwards is a highly experienced commercial real estate investment professional with a background in performing and non-performing debt and equity investments across various properties. He has a proven track record of originating, structuring, and managing complex financial structures across jurisdictions. Mr Edwards holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Government, and Economics from Cornell University.

Spyridon Retzekas is the Head of Software & Technology and Deputy CEO of Qualco Group. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including nearly 20 years at Qualco, he leads the organisation’s expansion and transformation efforts, focusing on global synergies and investing in new technologies. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras and an MSc in Telecommunications from the University of London.

George Kazos is the Group Deputy CEO and Managing Director of Qualco Intelligent Finance, bringing over 25 years of experience in energy, telecommunications, capital management and investment evaluation. Formerly the COO of Watt and Volt, he drove significant sales and financial improvements. Before that, he held senior roles at Vodafone in strategy, business development, and marketing. He holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire.

Nikos Vardaramatos is the CEO of Quant and Head of Portfolio Management. With 24 years of experience, he specialises in debt portfolio management, operational design, and managing third-party networks. Before joining the Group, he held senior roles at Intracom Armenia and Eurobank. He holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace and an MBA in Engineering Management from the City University of London.

Nikos Psimogiannos is the CEO of Qualco ICT, the spearhead entity of Qualco Group in the ICT sector. With 20 years of experience in technology leadership roles, he formerly was the International Managing Director of Unisystems, managing ICT operations across 25 countries. He has a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA, an MSc in Techno-economics from NTUA, an ExecMBA from ALBA, and a PhD in NGNs from the Aegean University.

Nikolaos Kontopoulos has been the Chief Financial Officer of Qualco Group since 2019. Before that, he held various senior positions, notably at Intralot and SingularLogic. Throughout his tenure at Qualco Group, he has implemented vital financial initiatives that have enhanced the organisation’s profitability and operational efficiency. He holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Boston University.

Athanasios Pittaras is the Executive Director of Data Science, leading the Qualco Applied Research and Technology Centre. He is an experienced data scientist and team leader with a background in business and research environments, including boutique hedge funds, investment banks, and academic institutions. He holds a PhD in Engineering, an MSc in Control Systems, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of London.

John Gikopoulos is the Chief Innovation Officer at Qualco Group, responsible for defining strategy, driving innovation, and overseeing incubation initiatives. He also leads the Applied Intelligence business line, focusing on AI, IoT, and analytics. Before joining the Group, he held senior roles at Infosys Consulting, IPsoft and McKinsey & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Manchester.

Chrysavgi Salaka is the VP of Solution Design & Customer Consulting at Qualco Group, leading activities related to the Qualco offering. Since 2013, she has headed the presales and business analysis departments. She holds an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School, an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

Varvara Kountouraki is the Operations Director at Qualco Intelligent Finance, bringing over 25 years of experience in securitisations, funding structuring, banking operations, credit, NPLs, and business analysis. Before joining Qualco Group, she held senior roles at Eurobank, focusing on credit and NPL management. She holds a Βachelor’s in international and European Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics.

Pavlina Louki has led the marketing function at Qualco Group since 2019, overseeing the global positioning of the organisation’s brands. She began her career as a digital marketing entrepreneur and has since pursued a corporate career in technology, focusing on international go-to-market strategy and planning. Pavlina holds a BS in Software Engineering from the University of Piraeus.
