QUALCO processes the personal data of users who visit and use our webpage. By collecting this information, we act as data controllers and, by law, we are obligated to provide you with information regarding ourselves, the reason and way we use your data, and for your rights on them.

QUALCO will not ask you to provide special categories of personal data, such as data that reveal your racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or philosophical beliefs, participation in unions, genetic data, biometric data, or data in relation to your health or sexual orientation, through the Webpage.

We also collect your personal data when you actively provide Personal Data to us: we collect your Personal Data when you actively provide them to us, for example when you fill and submit the online contact form.

By submitting information to our site, you also agree to the use of that information in accordance with this Privacy Notice. No Personal Data collected shall be used for any other purpose except as expressly authorized by you or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. 

With the present Notice, QUALCO declares that we will collect and process your personal data for the purpose of providing and improving services to you, of responding to enquiries that you submit to us, of general communication and of completing the provided by law operation purposes, services and activities of QUALCO.

The main reason of processing is to fulfil the agreement that you conclude with us when you receive any of our services or operations; however, there are other reasons too that allow us to you them, such as our interest in replying to your questions or the consent that you give us to use cookies.

QUALCO will process (collect, store and use) the information that you provide in a compliant way within the legislative framework for the Protection of Personal Data. We will try to maintain your information accurate and up–to–date, and to not store them for longer than it’s necessary. The period that certain data will have to be stored may also be governed by specific requirements of the legislation and practices.

Personal Data Retention period

We make reasonable efforts to preserve the Personal Data we collect from our Users just for as long as the purpose for which they were collected requires or until we are asked to delete them (if requested earlier).

QUALCO might communicate your personal data to Public and/or Independent Authorities, Bodies or Services, and or associates natural and/or legal persons service providers–contracting parties of the Group for the purposes of its legal operation, of the safe–guarding of its legal interests. Without prejudice to the legislation, QUALCO will not communicate your personal data to countries outside the E.U. or to third parties that do not meet the necessary security measures without first receiving your consent.

We want to inform our Service users that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

It is also possible that we may use services by third–party service providers. As part of their services, they may need to process your personal data. We may also employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons: To facilitate our Service, To provide the Service on our behalf, To perform Service-related services, To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used and/or for marketing reasons. QUALCO is committed to protecting the Personal Data provided by Users in accordance with the provisions of General Regulation on Data Protection of the EU 2016/679, as amended and in force, and to take the necessary security measures to enhance the protection of such data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure or transmission, alteration or destruction. 

 Data subjects’ rights 

Without prejudice to applicable law, you have (a) the right of access, that is, upon your request to ascertain, whether or not, your data are being processed and to receive further information on this. You may and should (b) modify your personal information that we hold, in the event, that your qualifications and/ or circumstances change. Also, if the requirements of the law are met, you have (c) the right to to request the deletion of your data, (d) the right to restrict processing, (e) the right to data portability, and (f) the right to object to the data processing. 

Users may exercise their rights in accordance with General Regulation on Data Protection of the EU 2016/679 by sending an application regarding a specific request and/ or action to QUALCO by email to the Data Protection Officer at dpo@qualco.eu. 

This application should state the contact details of the applicant and be accompanied by all the supporting documents specified in the Data Protection Authority’s Decisions. Qualco will respond in writing to the requests submitted within the statutory time limit. 

You have the right to file a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) (Postal address: 1-3 Kifissias str., 115 115, Athens, tel. +30 210 6475600, e-mail address: complaints@dpa.gr) if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data violates the applicable national and regulatory framework on the protection of personal data. 

You further have the right to revoke your consent provided, with your presence at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Our Services may con`tain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us.  Transfer of personal data outside the EU 

QUALCO may perform Cross-Border Data Transfer, subject to the conditions of the applicable law. For example, all information gathered within the European Economic Area, or in Asia, North or Latin America or in other countries may be transferred outside those areas. QUALCO may also store Personal Data in countries or jurisdictions other than your location of residence. By sharing Personal Data on our website, users consent to the Cross-Border Data Transfer and/ or storage of their data in third countries outside the EU. We are committed to taking any reasonably necessary measures to ensure that your data is processed securely and always under this Privacy Policy. 

In any event, QUALCO may transfer your personal data to third countries outside the EU provided that: a) an adequate level of protection is guaranteed by the third country, territory or by one or more specific sectors in that third country as per the European Commission’s guidelines; or b) appropriate guarantees have been provided by the recipient for processing their data in accordance with the law. If none of the above conditions apply, a data transfer may take place if i) the transfer is necessary to establish or enforce legal claims or defend QUALCO ‘s rights or ii) QUALCO is under a related obligation by law or transnational contract. 

Social media

We use social media in different ways to create a user–friendly environment and to communicate. You can approach us through your Account on social media (e.g., through Facebook Messenger). However, you will have to remember that we do not use this conversation as our official channel for handling questions or complaints. The Policy of Confidentiality of the relevant social networking media provider (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) is applied when using their services.

In some pages, we may have incorporated social media add-ons (e.g., of Facebook and of Instagram). This means that if you click on one of the add-on buttons, some information is communicated to relevant social media provider. Third parties may be able to place cookies through these add-ons. QUALCO fully understands the importance of the protection of children’s privacy. This Website is not addressing and is not intentionally designed to address children and has no intention of knowingly collecting and maintaining personal data of children.  Therefore, we neither collect, nor do we desire to process data that concerns children. If you have in mind any provision of data that concerns minors, we ask that you notify us immediately.   

Governing Law 

This Privacy Notice, as amended from time to time, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, EU law and relevant international treaties. If any provision of this Privacy Notice shall be judged illegal, it shall ipso jure cease to exist, but all other provisions of this Privacy Notice shall continue in full force and effect.
