Α Chip off the old block

Cameron immersed himself in the world of kitesurfing from an early age. His father, Dimitris, a skilled professional kiteboarder, introduced him to the sport by carrying him on his shoulders during training sessions when he was just a baby.

He embarked on his kitesurfing journey at age six, demonstrating remarkable dedication and skill. Both sharing a deep love for the sea, Cameron and his father surf together, sharing many exciting adventures while sometimes racing in the same competitions.

Today, Cameron is in the middle of his preparation for the race in Hague that will determine his qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics. He also trains many hours daily as part of the US Open Sailing Series Clearwater 2023.

Besides his passion for kitesurfing, he likes to play tennis.

Did You Know?

After five years of absence due to his studies, he re-embraced kitesurfing with daily training.
