Qualco Group undertakes a major project for the digital mapping of the Greek Ministry of Health’s real estate portfolio
Qualco Real Estate and Qualco S.A., both part of Qualco Group and together holding more than 90% of a consortium of companies, have been selected as contractors to provide technology support services for the Strategic Programme for the Management of the Greek Ministry of Health’s real estate portfolio.
The project has a total budget of nearly €10 million and a duration of 24 months, with an option for additional services worth up to €5 million. It comprises the digital mapping, regularisation and evaluation of one of the largest and most complex real estate portfolios in the Greek State.
As part of the project, Qualco Group will provide the Ministry of Health with a modern, web-based real estate management platform hosted in a Gov Cloud environment. The platform will support the identification, evaluation and classification of approximately 4,000 properties, the estimation of their market value, and technical and legal due diligence.
Deploying proprietary technology, advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence tools, the project will create a single, unified digital picture of the National Health System (ESY) real estate portfolio, giving the competent public authorities reliable data for faster, better-informed decision-making. Decisions on the management and use of the properties remain the responsibility of the State and the competent authorities.
Mr Orestis Tsakalotos, Executive Chairman of Qualco Group, stated: “With this project, we are not simply delivering a mapping exercise but a modern digital tool that transforms thousands of ESY properties into a fully documented, quantifiable yet also dynamic asset base. We are drawing on our technology and expertise to support a project of national importance, delivering measurable benefits for the public health sector and for citizens.”
The award further strengthens Qualco Group’s presence in large-scale technology projects with a transformative impact on the public sector, and marks another step in its growth strategy in Greece and abroad.
